This video participates the online exhibition 7homes.

 

7 Homes is an online interdisciplinary exhibition which intends to find the mutation of the presentation/performance form. In the exhibition, there are 7 artists comes from different background and present their works to the audience in the real-time. Some of them are interactive and some of them invited the audience to engage the piece. 

The video is a hybrid of sounds and videos collected from everyday life and the generated visuals. It is inspired by the sharp noise of the London tube and the trippy movement of the transportation. Based on the concept of the exhibition, we attempt to build a new form of performance/exhibition online. As an artist based in London and participating in this live exhibition in Taiwan, how can I play with the time difference and the interaction between the audience and the exhibitors?

I asked the audience to watch this video with a paper roll. Not only create the posture of the observation but also contain the perspective in a rounded scope. When they dig into the screen, they will start a journey with the tubes in London and travel around especially under this restricted and historical period.
